Serving Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa and surrounding communities Mission Statement The Orange Coast Voice is an independently owned monthly newspaper published for the purpose of disseminating news, analysis and opinion that allows and encourages all residents of Orange County's coastal cities to become more involved politically, socially and economically in their communities. To fulfill its goals, the Orange Coast Voice will do its best to: Report, analyze and comment on political, economic and social issues that affect the quality of life for all persons who live, work and play in Orange County's coastal communities; Provide a forum wherein ideas and opinions can be freely and honestly expressed so that Orange Coast Voice readers may better understand the perspectives of others and themselves; Acknowledge those persons, groups and organizations whose work, actions and achievements deserve commendation and recognition and; Increase awareness, appreciation and respect for the rich cultural and ethnic diversity of our coastal communities. These goals will be achieved by: Providing readers with editorial content that raises the local standard of journalism to a higher leve; Providing advertisers with the most effective means possible for communicating their message to potential clients and in order to increase their sales and; Providing readers and advertisers with a newspaper that is well designed and visually attractive. |
