PRAISE FOR THE PRINT EDITION OF THE OC VOICE
Premier independent newspaper for coastal Orange County
“The Orange Coast Voice is the premiere, independent newspaper of coastal orange county. No other paper comes close to its diversity of relevant topics without the fluff. The editors demonstrate a deep respect for the past while showing genuine concern for the future of their communities.” — Karl Warkomski Open Space Advocate, Aliso Viejo Mayor and Council Member, 2001-2007
We count on it
“The OC Voice is the only independent newspaper in our community…We count on it to cover important local news with the depth that other newspapers either cannot or will not.” – Linda Hernandez, Huntington Beach resident and community activist.
Incredibly impressed
“I’m really new to your paper, but incredibly impressed with its content and want to support it as much as possible. If there was any doubt before, I’m sure I’m supporting the right media outlet with my advertising dollars now.”– Evan Little, Realtor/EcoBroker http://www.gogreenorangecounty.blogspot.com
Pertinent and serious information
“Doug Korthof’s article in the July 2008 edition of the OC Voice is a must read. Solar is an energy source that appeals to many people…It is so good to read a newspaper that has pertinent and serious information in it.” — John Scott, Huntington Beach resident.
Keeps the OC Voice
“I picked up your July 2007 issue at Good Mood Food in HB and wanted to thank you for a wonderful newspaper…My favorite was Sarah Mosko on solar roofing, which I will keep for the helpful facts about energy savings.” — Becky Person, Costa Mesa resident
Best buy in town
“What a great newspaper…’Wounded Bolsa’ was a super article about this tragic trampling of Native Americans’ rights…Your paper is the best buy in town.”– Eileen Murphy, Huntington Beach resident and community activist.

Good for you! I’ll be following your issues and promoting the OC Voice among my friends, colleagues and other green/common sense advocates.
Maybe you’ll write up an article about our company. We are really making progress and doing our part by installing 100% organic vegetable gardens and fruit orchards all over Southern California…and soon the rest of the nation.
Girl Scouts and the Richard Nixon Presidential Library Go Green
The public is invited to attend the family friendly event, “Girl Scouts Go Green,” hosted by the Girl Scouts of Yorba Linda on Sunday, March 14th at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The celebration marks the 98th birthdays of the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A and First Lady Pat Nixon, once honorary president of Girl Scouts.
This environmental consciousness event will increase awareness of the need to maintain ecological balance, live within the resource limits of our planet, and support a sustainable society which utilizes resources in such a way that future generations will benefit rather than suffer from our practices.
Booths will be sponsored by both Orange County Girl Scout Troops and ‘green’ corporations. The Science Olympiad Team from Santiago Charter Middle School in Orange will be on hand to perform demonstrations on both renewable and non-renewable energies. In addition, all guests will have the opportunity to plant their own tree.
Boys and girls of all ages are invited for free admission, free parking and free birthday cake. Additional “greenergy” opportunities will be available at a nominal fee.
